IEEE I2MTC 2011 Tutorials

Dear Colleague,

The IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society's annual I2MTC conference will be held May 10-12 in Hangzhou, China. The IMS will hold a day of paid tutorials at the conference venue on Monday, May 9, the day immediately before the conference.

The 2011 tutorial program consists of a full day of twelve presentations in two parallel tracks of six presentations each. Each presentation will be 60 minutes in duration with ample time for questions after the presentation. The tutorial schedule can be found at http://imtc.ieee-ims.org/imtc/2011/tutorials. The 2011 tutorial program is an exceptional educational opportunity featuring speakers recognized for their technical acumen and teaching ability, including three outstanding faculty members recommended by the Hangzhou organizing committee, a number of IMS Fellows, and six of the Society's eight Distinguished Lecturers. The setting is informal with frequent short breaks to encourage questions and discussion with presenters and other attendees. The tutorial program is an outstanding opportunity to build on familiar material, explore new material, and prepare for the technical sessions which follow during I2MTC 2011. The tutorial program makes it possible to hear many of the Society's recognized authorities and best speakers on a single day - we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity.

Presentation topics and speakers are as follows: Registration fees for the 2011 I2MTC tutorial program are US$125 for IEEE members, US$175 for nonmembers, and US$50 for students and IEEE Life Members.

Abstracts for each of the tutorials and short biographies of the presenters will be posted on the IMS I2MTC 2011 website. Please register for the tutorial program at http://imtc-ims.org/registration.php.
